Congratulations, Graduates! We look forward to honoring your accomplishment and celebrating with you in May 2022.
Our comprehensive graduation celebrations will take place May 4, 2022- May 7, 2022, with our large institutional celebration on Friday, May 6 at 10am at loanDepot park in Miami. Each School and College will hold a more intimate ceremony on campus, where graduates will have their individual accomplishments visibly recognized.
Some college/school events on campus will likely have capacity limits, and tickets will be required. More information on ticketing and events will be shared as it is available.
BACCALAUREATE MASS & ROSE AND CANDLE CEREMONY

Main Campus
The Baccalaureate Mass is a celebration of graduation, and the Rose and Candle Ceremony symbolizes the bonds of friendship and the sending forth of the graduates. Graduates exchange a candle, the symbol of wisdom and knowledge, with a Barry student of their choice. In return, graduates receive a rose as a symbol of love and friendship.
Graduates are encouraged to wear their academic robes, without hoods or caps.

This celebration will include all the Schools and Colleges that traditionally participate in main campus graduation and will feature invited speakers as well as honorary degree recipients.

Applying for Graduation
To receive your diploma, you must register for a Barry University Degree on Web Advisor after your academic advisor has given permission. Students seeking a degree must be registered by the announced/published deadline for a particular degree date. Once the deadline has passed, students will not be able to receive their degree until the next degree date. -
Graduation Fee
Students Registering to receive a bachelor's or Master's degree will pay $200.00. Students registering to receive a Doctoral degree will pay a $250.00 fee. The graduation fee applies to all graduating students regardless of whether or not you attend the ceremony. The fee covers the cost of verifying degree completion, producing and shipping diplomas, purchasing your cap & gown, the Graduation Survey, and other items associated with offering the graduation ceremony. -

Barry University Doctoral Robe
This robe is custom made and available to any student graduating with a Barry University doctoral degree. For orders, please contact Dr. Eileen McDonough at the main campus at 305-899-3085 or by e-mail at emcdonough@barry.edu. Making a Difference One Gown at a Time
Barry University Bachelor and Masters graduates wear a gown that is totally recyclable. Each Eco-Friendly gown reduces the amount of material recycled by using 27 plastic bottles that will not end up in a landfill. Along with saving bottles from the landfill, each gown gives back to the Environment and introduces another avenue for sustainability. -
