We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

Professional Development

The CARE Center offers educational, personal, and professional development opportunities on a variety of topics. Many of these learning opportunities are approved by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling as well as the Florida Council of Dietetics and Nutrition and offer CEs to attendees. Barry University is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements.

From cultural training to personality type, sessions can be developed to meet the needs of the community and professional organizations.
