We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

Hometown: Hialeah, Florida Favorite location on campus: My favorite location on campus is the library because the campus offers study rooms! It is super helpful and useful for me as a biology student to study and prep for exams. I also love the commuter lounge because it’s super relaxing and I get to hangout with my friends on campus there! What I love about Barry: I love the warming and welcoming environment of Barry and how helpful the faculty and staff are. We all get to bond in a certain way in this campus and grow as students. Why I am a student ambassador: I became a student ambassador because I loved how helpful they were when I first started my freshman year. As a student ambassador, I get to help upcoming and current students to receive the resources they need and feel more comfortable around the campus. Campus involvement: I am part of the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS) and Tri-Beta Biology Society. Future plans: I want to get into med school and pursue my career as a trauma surgeon.
