Wendy Langen, MSMSC, PA-C

Wendy Langen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New College, the honors college of Florida. In 2000 she earned a Masters in Clinical Medical Science from Barry Physician Assistant Program. Her student days were marked with approbations; in addition to working for Barry part-time as an audiovisual assistant teaching assistant, she earned a GPA-based scholarship and holds membership in the PA honor society. Upon graduation she became a part-time Instructor then in 2008 Wendy Langen joined the Barry Physician Assistant Program full time as Assistant Professor. She recently became the Director of Didactic Education for the PA Program. She is licensed as a Physician Assistant- Certified by the state of Florida, with prescription privileges. She has worked clinically in Cardiology, Family Practice, and Weight Management. Her scholarly and professional interests include physical diagnosis, the use of guidelines in clinical practice, and the use of standardized patients in clinical skills assessment. She is currently earning a PhD in Higher Education Administration from Barry University Adrian Dominican School of Education.
