Biography

Dr. Sarah Ingram-Herring received a BSW from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and her MSW and PhD at Barry University. Dr. Ingram-Herring joined the School of Social Work in 2006 and has served in the capacity of Associate Director of Field Education for the Palm Beach/Treasure Coast Program, Director of Field Education, and now the MSW Program Director. Dr. Ingram-Herring’s practice experience includes work with children, adolescents, and families providing outpatient counseling services. Additionally, Dr. Ingram-Herring has experience working in domestic violence, schools, health clinics, private practice and a grassroots community organization. Licensed as a clinical social worker in Florida for the past 29 years, Dr. Ingram-Herring has served as a field instructor for MSW students and qualified clinical supervisor for social workers pursuing licensure.
