We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

Biography

Dr. Marilyn Marousek is an Associate Professor of Administration for Barry University’s School of Professional and Career Education. She holds the international human resource certifications of SPHR, GPHR, and SHRM-SCP. Dr. Marousek has a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a doctoral degree in Education and Leadership with a specialization in Human Resource Development. Dr. Marousek has been teaching human resource courses for Barry University since 2004, and has taught at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level, online and face to face. She also teaches the SHRM non-credit certification courses for Barry University. She has conducted specialized training in Miami-Dade, Broward, Brevard, and Lee counties and has given presentations for organizations such as the Florida Public Personnel Association and the City of Fort Myers.
