Biography

Dr. Beauchesne has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate management courses such as human resources, organizational behavior, strategy, and organizational communication since joining Barry in 2014. Her research interest is at the intersection of micro and macro management research. More specifically, she studies how individual differences (e.g., personality) of senior leaders impact a range of firm-level strategic outcomes such as innovation, corporate social responsibility, and firm performance. She recently published a book chapter on executive leadership in The Oxford Handbook of Leadership and Organizations as well as an article on innovation and firm networks in the Cornell Hospitality Quarterly journal. Prior to her career in academia, Dr. Beauchesne worked as a business strategy consultant in Quebec City and Montreal, Canada. Her fields of expertise encompass project management, process optimization, and enterprise architecture.
