Biography

M. Margarita Nodarse is an Associate Professor of Spanish. She administers both the Language and Literature and the Translation and Interpretation specializations in the Spanish area. Her interests include the study of Peninsular and Hispanic Literatures and Translation Studies. She has published essays and reviews in the Dictionary of Caribbean and Afro–Latin American Biography, Oxford University Press, Dictionary of Literary Biography: Modern Spanish American Poets, Thompson-Gale, Linden Magazine and the South Eastern Americanist. Her presentations revolve around a wide scope of topics including Latino authors and Equatorial Guinea writers. She teaches Spanish as a second language, special courses for native speakers of Spanish, Peninsular and Hispanic American literatures, methods of teaching foreign languages, and Spanish for special interests. She also designed and teaches the translation and grammar courses for the Translation and Interpretation Specialization at Barry University.
