We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

Biography

Louise Hardenburg has been a member of the Barry University staff since 1994 and has been involved with many university activities. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Barry and recently earned a Master’s degree in Church Administration from Newburgh Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. She serves as an ex-officio member on the Barry University Alumni Association and was on the Founders Ball Committee for 2004 and 2005. She resides with her husband, who is a retired military pilot, in Dania Beach. She has three children and five grandchildren, and many interests and hobbies, and loves to travel.
