Biography

Kimberly Crosse, DNP, CRNA, APRN is an Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology at Barry University in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Before moving to South Florida, Dr. Crosse was born in Brooklyn, New York and was raised in Palm Bay, Florida. She attended the University of Miami for her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and graduated in 2005. Dr. Crosse’s initial nursing experience began in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, which launched her desire to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Anesthesiology degree at Barry University. She completed the MS in Anesthesiology degree in 2010. Dr. Crosse went on to complete a Doctor in Nursing Practice (DNP) with a Specialization in Anesthesiology from Barry University in 2014. Her work experiences includes trauma, cardiac, pediatrics, obstetrics, and transplant anesthesia. She informs her educator role, as an anesthesia provider for various hospitals and office based anesthesia practices throughout the state of Florida. Her main interests include: healthcare simulation, pediatrics, and obstetrics. Teaching has always been a passion and a dream for Dr. Crosse. She is delighted to join the Barry Anesthesiology Faculty.
