Biography

Casie Parker, MSPAS, PA-C is an Assistant Professor of Medical Education with the Physician Assistant program who graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development with honors from Eckerd College. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University where she received the Humanitarian of the Year award. In addition, she was the recipient of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants Family Practice Scholarship and has served as the regional liaison for the organization. She is a Florida native who has spent her entire life devoted to people and helping to make their lives better. From working as a social worker while in graduate school to working with the most compassionate and educated Neurosurgeons in Florida and now guiding the Physician Assistants of tomorrow into clinical practice, she has always gravitated to service-oriented industries Professor Parker’s membership affiliations are as follows: Physician Assistant Education Association American Association of Neurosurgeons National Association of Spine Surgeons American Academy Physician Assistants Florida Academy of Physician Assistants
