Biography

Dr. Aimee Jones is an Assistant Professor of English. Teaching primarily in First Year Writing, Dr. Jones brings to her classrooms a background in composition pedagogy, rhetorical history and theory, and multilingual and translingual literacies. Dr. Jones’s research interests include multilingual and translingual literacy studies, writing center studies, and composition pedagogy. She has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences, including the Conference of College Composition and Communication Convention, and the International Writing Centers Association Conference. Her scholarship has been published in Sustainable Learning Spaces: Design, Infrastructure, and Technology. Dr. Jones received the Marian C. Bashinski Award for Excellence in Teaching for her commitment to teaching in First Year Writing and the International Writing Center Association President’s Future Leaders Award for her research in Writing Center Studies.
