Biography
Edmine Pierre currently serves as Simulation Technician for CNHS Simulation Learning Center. She joined Barry University in spring 2021 and supports both faculty and students in many aspects of simulation in the Nursing department.
She works alongside federal work-study students and other staff members to keep the lab organized and activity ready. She assists faculty during classes by setting up necessary supplies for class and skills sessions. Ms. Pierre ensures that faculty and students are adhering to lab policies and procedures during in-person activities. She performs routine maintenance and updates on lab equipment. She supports virtual simulations for both Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing and often plays active roles during simulation.
Ms. Pierre earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in psychology from Florida Atlantic University. She recently graduated with a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University and is looking forward to entering PA school in the near future.
Edmine was born in Haiti and moved to the United States in at the age of 17. She enjoys traveling with friends and family.
