We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

Hometown: Toronto, Ontario, Canada What I like best about Barry University: Barry University is a community. Everyone is always willing to help. As a student and as an employee I had many times where faculty and staff went out of their way to help me, counsel me, and ensure my well-being. I also like the diversity on campus: we represent over 80 foreign nations! College search tip: Make sure you select a school that offers you the programs you desire and has a great Career Services Department to help you gain internships/jobs opportunities after you graduate. My favorite thing to do in Miami: Kayaking, snorkeling, going to the beach, playing tennis
