Master of Social Work (MSW)

Master of Social Work (MSW) Traditional Program

Full-Time

Completed in 16 months, this accelerated program offers 63 credits of social work courses and electives designed to strengthen students' skills and knowledge through theory and field practice. Our trauma-informed program will prepare students for advanced work practice and provide training to create leaders and dedicated practitioners. Students will enroll in foundation-level courses followed by an advanced concentration in trauma-informed clinical practice.

Students are required to complete 1000 hours of field education training over the duration of enrollment. This translates into approximately 24 hours a week of social work internship. Students have the ability to request a ‘two-agency placement’ (split between foundation and concentration levels) allowing for a more diverse practice experience. This program is not recommended for individuals that work full-time. Students will take approximately four courses each semester (Tues. 9:30am – 4:30pm & Thurs. 9:30am – 4:30pm). Field education will be assigned for completion on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Students interested in the Palm Beach Gardens Full-time program will attend classes on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30am – 3:30pm. Field Education will be completed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
