We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

Saturday Part-Time Program

Master of Social Work (MSW)

Master of Social Work (MSW) Saturday Part Time Program

Completed in approximately 28 months, this program offers 63 credits of social work courses and electives designed to strengthen students' skills and knowledge through theory and field practice. Our trauma-informed program will prepare students for advanced social work practice and provide training to create leaders and dedicated practitioners. Students will enroll in foundation-level courses followed by an advanced concentration in trauma-informed clinical practice.

Students are required to complete 1000 hours of field education training over the duration of enrollment. This translates into approximately 10 hours a week of social work internship. However, Field Education begins in semester 2 giving students’ additional time to transition into graduate school. Students have the ability to request a ‘two-agency placement’ (split between foundation and concentration levels) allowing for a more diverse practice experience. This program is designed for working professionals. Students will take two courses on Saturday (8:30am – 3:30pm) each semester. Field education will be assigned for completion during the week.
