Barry University’s School of Social Work has partnered with Miami Dade College to offer the 2+2 Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program. This allows you to earn your associate’s degree at Miami Dade College, and transition seamlessly to the Social Work program at Barry in order to complete your bachelor’s degree. Depending on the number of transfer credits accepted, you could complete your social work degree at Barry within two academic years.

You will participate in an internship allowing you to gain individualized field placement experience. With a focus on social issues and advocacy, we also offer opportunities for students to work with our Center for Human Rights and Social Justice.
