At the conclusion of the seminar, Physicians will be able to:
- Identify the most common medical and surgical errors
- Recognize the importance of communication to prevent errors
- Explain Root Cause Analysis and how it is used to improve patient care
- Recognize the importance of reporting responsibilities and notifications
- Identify podiatric liabilities, risk management techniques and strategies
- Participate and assist counsel during litigation
- Understand the importance of limb salvaging and revascularization
- Learn the how to manage venous leg ulcers
- Understand various alternatives to fusion with Hallux Rigidus
- Understand how to interact with the Intellectually Disabled, Down Syndrome and Dementia Athlete/Patients

Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. Barry University has approved the 30th Annual Agnes Seminar for a maximum of 8 continuing education contact hours.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds less a $50 processing fee will be given when written notification is received by January 25, 2020. No refunds will be given for no-shows. BUSPM reserves the right to cancel the seminar up to two weeks prior to the start date of the seminar. BUSPM will make every effort to inform the participants as soon as possible in the event of cancellation. At no time will BUSPM be responsible for any other cost that may have been incurred by the registrant.
