We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

Post-Bacc Anesthesiology Program Preparation Guidelines for Undergraduate Nursing Students

In preparation for a graduate anesthesiology program, you should make sure that you do well in all of your undergraduate coursework, focusing on the science courses. The Post-Baccalaureate DNP in Anesthesiology is a science-based curriculum.

If you have not already done so, find out if your undergraduate program offers areas of specialization. By focusing on a clinical specialty rotation in critical care during your senior practicum you will obtain valuable experience to prepare for anesthesia education.

When looking for your first job after graduation, identify the locations that will enable you to develop solid nursing experience including experience in an intensive care unit.
