In the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, the undergraduate, master’s and practice doctorate programs in nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The baccalaureate degree in nursing/master's degree in nursing/Doctor of Nursing Practice and post-graduate APRN certificates at Barry University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20002, 202-887-6791.

The undergraduate nursing program is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, 4052 Bald Cypress Way Bin C-02, Tallahassee, FL 32399-3252, (850) 245-4125.

The nurse anesthesiology programs are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, 222 South Prospect Avenue, Suite 304, Park Ridge, IL 60068, (847) 692-7050.

The athletic training program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), 6850 Austin Center Blvd., Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731-3184, (512) 733-9700.

The cardiovascular perfusion program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), 25400 US Highway 19 North, Suite 158, Clearwater, FL 33763, (727) 210-2350.

The bachelor of science in clinical biology with a histotechnology specialization, post-baccalaureate certificate in histotechnology and master of science in clinical biology with a histotechnology specialization are approved by the Florida Department of Health, Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel, 4052 Bald Cypress Way Bin C-07, Tallahassee, FL 32399-3258, (850) 245-4355 and accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), 5600 N. The exercise physiology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), 25400 US Highway 19 North, Suite 158, Clearwater, FL 33763, (727) 210-2350.

The occupational therapy program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE), 4720 Montgomery Lane, Suite 200, Bethesda, Maryland 20814-3449, (301) 652-6611 x2042.

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued status to the Barry University Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Barry University. Accreditation-Continued Is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards.

Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be March 2026.
