Pre-Professional Track Overview Biology (BS) Pre-Medical
The Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Professional program allows you the flexibility to apply to graduate programs in the professional field of your choice.
The Pre-Medical track prepares you to apply for medical school following graduation. An accelerated three-year option is also available for this program.

Applicable Core Areas
The B.S. degree requires a minimum of 40 required credits and at least one course from each of the following core areas: Growth/Development, Cellular/Molecular Biology, Physiological/Biochemical Principles, Environmental Biology, and Biological Theory. -
Med School Pathway
Barry graduates have gone on to study at medical schools such as Weill Cornell Medical College, University of Massachusetts Medical School, Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, and Northwestern University. -

Varried Electives
In addition to required courses, Barry’s Pre-Professional program offers a variety of elective courses, including Human Nutrition, Neurobiology, Parasitology, Biochemistry, Epidemiology, Histology, Embryology and Immunology.
